Silken or soft tofu 豆腐

Old ginger 老姜
finely julienned
1 stalk
Spring onions 葱
finely sliced
1 tbsp
Light soy sauce 生抽
1 tsp
Toasted sesame oil 麻油
Method · 做法

Place the tofu block whole on a shallow heatproof plate. Top with ginger.

Steam over rapidly boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes.

Drain off any excess water that has pooled. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil. Scatter spring onion.

Serve hot with rice.
