Raw peanuts (skin on) 花生
skin on, soaked 1 hour
10 dates
Red dates (jujube) 红枣
pitted
30g, to taste
Rock sugar 冰糖
2 slices, optional
Old ginger 老姜
Method · 做法

Soak peanuts for 1 hour. Drain.

Combine peanuts, dates, ginger (if using) with 1L water.

Bring to a boil, then simmer covered on low for 50 to 60 minutes until peanuts are creamy.

Stir in rock sugar in the last 5 minutes. Serve warm.
